VOŁOSI

VOŁOSI is an ensemble that has fun, improvising on stage and infecting all listeners with positive energy. They made their debut at the 2010 New Tradition Festival and quickly gained international recognition. Based on folk music with Carpathian roots, their interpretations combine with energetic improvisations with jazz and rock features. The ensemble consisting of two violins, viola, cello and double bass produces incredible energy on the stage. The musicians combine various musical conventions: they have performed both concerts with classical music ensembles (e.g. the AUKSO orchestra) and valued folk artists (Georgian music legend Niaz Diasamidze, Norwegian Signum Moldestad Trio or Hungarian violinist Félix Lajkó).
