"No one who wants to talk about the cinema can ignore the film music – it composes in fact an integral part of our lives, our time, contemporary culture" – says Ennio Morricone, one of its greatest composers.
At the Szczecin Philharmonic we will hear popular movie themes arranged by Klaudiusz Jania, created specifically for its musicians. This young conductor, trumpeter, pianist and organist is a graduate of the composition and arrangement class at the Jazz Institute of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice. He is the author of the first Polish pop arrangement of Händel's "Messiah", as well as the first jazz arrangements of music by Purcell and Haydn.
