A distinctive feature of the ensemble is the fusion of several musical genres, including classical, jazz, folk, and electronic music. Their collaborative work provides the artists with a space for free musical exploration. In their compositions, they combine instrumental sounds with vocals. The instrumentalists use unconventional violin techniques such as chopping and strumming. SEKUNDa won the most prestigious folk and alternative music competitions in Poland. They won the first prize at the Mikołajki Folkowe competition in 2021 in Lublin, the second prize and the Special Award of Program 2 of Polish Radio at the Nowa Tradycja Festival in 2022. In August 2022, they won the main TRYTON award at the FAMA Festival in Świnoujście.
The artists will present original compositions based on traditional melodies at the concert. The primary source of inspiration for the ensemble is the traditional music of the Żywiec Beskids and Spiš regions. SEKUNDa's music showcases the rich and diverse experiences of both artists. The sound of the violins is complemented by vocals and instruments characteristic of pastoral traditions: a six-hole flute, a Lenten flute, and zbyrcoki (shepherd's bells).
