Like a captain on a ship, like a guide on a complicated journey – the conductor bravely leads their orchestra through musical lands full of sounds and emotions. We will learn the mysterious signals used to communicate with the musicians during the concert. We will witness an adventure where the conductor heroically leads the instruments out of the dangerous cave of the Troll King. We will also discover the answer to a question that intrigues many – even the most devoted adult music lovers – can the orchestra play without a conductor?
In the first season of the Young Music Lovers’ Academy, young and slightly older music enthusiasts will get an in-depth introduction to the symphony orchestra. Is the orchestra one big family, or does it consist of several instrumental clans? What temperaments and talents do
its individual sections hide? Among their strings, keys, mouthpieces, and reeds, the instruments conceal countless musical stories. Especially for children, they have agreed to tell the most
beautiful ones.
The best way to build a friendship with classical music is to understand it and meet it live regularly. Each concert offers the audience a hefty dose of knowledge, illustrated by the most beautiful works of classical music and framed in fairy tale stories accessible to children.
