Holidays with EduPhilharmonic in a new version

The activities of the team of the Philharmonic Education Center in Szczecin have long gone beyond organizing only school concerts and preparing publications targeted at the youngest. There is practically no week without a new educational program targeting entire families appearing online. The EduPhilharmonic team provides all music lovers with a huge dose of energy, which quickly turns into creative musical activities.

Recent months have forced us to partially change our activities and most of our activities have been directed to the Internet. During the summer holidays, we will gather energy and ideas to come back with redoubled strength from September. You can find many hours of exciting activities for the youngest, which will allow you to spend your holiday time in a creative way. Whole families can have a great time listening to one of the exciting educational concerts.

EduFilharmonia under a new signboard

114 creative and original competition works, made by young music lovers aged 10-15, came to the Philharmonic as the part of the competition for the EduPhilharmonic logo. The graphic symbols proposed by the children were various. Some imagined EduPhilharmonic as an ice palace, others as a planet full of music and constellations of stars that were perceived as instruments. There were also works presenting the Philharmonic stairs, the symphony hall and the hall, as well as inventive typefaces with interesting slogans.

Due to the great interest in the competition, the announcement of the winners took a little longer than we planned. However, the vision of four young graphic designers intrigued us the most. The work of Jagoda Baszkowska is the winner. She imagined the Philharmonic building as a crown, signing it with the slogan "EduPhilharmonic – the kingdom of music for the youngest". The other three works by Nina Adamczyk, Alicja Serwach and Michał Mączyński surprised us not only with their ingenuity, but also with the form of execution - emphasizes Hanna Wilińska from the Philharmonic Education Center.

After working together on the winning project, we have managed to implement the current logo. It will be presented on promotional materials, seals and publications signed by EduFilharmonia.

The surprise for the Music festiwal

June 21st is the first day of summer and the time of the summer solstice, which is the shortest night of the year. Additionally, the celebrations coincide with Kupala Night. However, the name in French is "Fête de la Musique" and is a kind of a play with the words and the main slogan of the event. In free translation it means – "Make music!"

At noon on June 21st, a singing trio consisting of Mateusz Czarnowski (vocal), Bartłomiej Orłowski (ukulele) and Wojciech Gunia (double bass) will go on a tram tour of Szczecin. You will have a unique opportunity to meet these musicians in various parts of the city and listen to their interpretation of songs from the albums recorded by the Philharmonic Orchestra "And they lived long and in Szczecin" and "They lived long and in Szczecin 2".

The song titles can be a hint of places the trio will be visiting on June 21st.

In addition, at 5.00 p.m., another surprise will appear on social media, thanks to which you will see what EduFilharmonia deals with on everyday basis.
