Klezmafour Orchestrated at Sail Szczecin
NEWS | 30-05-2016Days of the Sea – Sail Szczecin is a great event for all enthusiasts of sailing vessels, old-timers, good music and fun. It is one of the biggest open-air events in Poland, where the presence of the Symphony Orchestra of the Philharmonic in Szczecin is a must. Szczecin Symphony musicians together with Klezmafour will rule the stage on June 12th at 19:30.
The unique sound of klezmer compositions combined with modern jazz, Balkan and Arabic influences will be performed by the lively band, to guarantee great fun and a dose of positive energy. With the band known for their innovative approach to music, Klezmafour together with the Symphony Orchestra of the Philharmonic in Szczecin released an album entitled “Klezmafour Orkiestronicznie” (Klezmafour Orchestrated) on 13th February 2016. Compositions from this album will be performed on stage at the Odra Boulevards, and will be conducted by Nikola Kołodziejczyć, the composer of these original arrangements.
