Amateurs and professionals, folk musicians and artists interpreting traditional music from reconstruction, through folk, jazz to experimental music, can participate in the True Musicians Tournament.
The tournament will be held in four categories: instrumentalists, vocal soloists, instrumental bands or vocal and instrumental bands (up to 6 persons), and vocal bands (up to 6 persons).
The tournament as a traditional form of musical' meeting refers to the National Tournaments of Folk Instrumentalists organized in Gryfino on the initiative of Edward Mojsak, animator and cymbalist, whose passion and hard work helped to establish the West-Pomeranian Region of Poland as one that is vivid in an ethno-musical sense. The aim of the True Musicians Tournament is to promote Polish and Central European music based on traditional sources.
